Who provides SignalMEA
SignalMEA is operated by Stratify Consulting Ltd, a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada (Ontario Corporation Number 1000614730), with its registered office at 2220 Lake Shore Blvd West, Unit 909, Toronto, Ontario M8V 0C1, Canada. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Stratify Consulting Ltd, and "you" means the subscriber or user. Contact: info@signalmea.com.
What SignalMEA is
SignalMEA is a regulatory intelligence newsletter covering the UAE and the wider Middle East and Africa. It monitors public regulatory sources, classifies and summarises them, and delivers a weekly brief. It is an information service.
Not legal, tax, or compliance advice
SignalMEA provides information, not advice. Nothing in the brief or on this website is legal, tax, regulatory, or compliance advice, and nothing creates a professional or advisory relationship. Summaries and importance ratings are our editorial assessment of public sources and may not capture every detail relevant to your situation. You should not act, or decline to act, on the basis of SignalMEA alone, and decisions affecting your organisation should be made with a qualified professional. We aim for accuracy and correct errors promptly, but we do not warrant that every item is complete, current, or error-free.
Free and paid subscriptions
- Free brief: available at no cost, delivered weekly, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
- Full brief: a paid subscription giving the full depth described on the subscribe page, billed at 19 US dollars per month or 190 US dollars per year.
We may change what each tier includes as the product develops, but we will not reduce what a paying subscriber has already paid for during their current billing period.
Payment, renewal, and cancellation
- Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annual, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.
Founding rate
Subscriptions taken at the founding rate keep that price for as long as the subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies.
Refunds
Payments are final. Amounts already paid, including for the current billing period, are non-refundable. If you no longer want the service, you can cancel at any time: cancellation stops the next renewal, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. This does not affect any refund right you may have under the mandatory law of your country of residence that cannot be waived.
Survey discount
From time to time we offer a discount on the annual subscription in return for completing our survey. Any such discount is applied as a code at checkout, is subject to the conditions and closing date stated where it is offered, and may be changed or withdrawn for future subscribers.
Acceptable use
SignalMEA is licensed to you for your own professional use. You may not:
- Republish, resell, or redistribute the brief or its contents as your own product or service.
- Share paid content in a way that lets others avoid subscribing, or systematically forward paid issues beyond your immediate team.
- Scrape, copy, or harvest the website or the brief by automated means.
- Use the service unlawfully or in a way that harms the service or other users.
Quoting a short extract with attribution and a link back is welcome.
Intellectual property
The classification, summaries, editorial selection, design, and the SignalMEA name and brand are our intellectual property. The underlying regulatory documents remain the property of their issuing authorities, and we link to those sources so you can verify them. Your subscription gives you a personal right to read and use the brief, not ownership of it.
Availability
We aim to publish weekly and to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery or that the service will always be free of errors or downtime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and will give reasonable notice to paying subscribers where a change materially affects them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SignalMEA is provided "as is," and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information it contains or from any interruption to the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and material changes affecting paying subscribers will be communicated to them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your own country of residence.
